For businesses with a team

You have a team. You just don't have someone running AI or marketing.

Fractional CMO, AI rollouts, and Stand-In CEO support for businesses with a team — whether that's two people or twenty, who've outgrown DIY but aren't ready to hire a full-time exec.

Sound like you?

Three patterns I see all the time.

'We've added people but our marketing is still whoever has time.'

No one owns it. Campaigns get half-shipped. The website is two years old. You need senior strategic input without paying $200k for it.

'Everyone uses ChatGPT but no one's leading AI.'

Your team is curious but uncoordinated. Tools are scattered. Workflows are ad hoc. Nobody's built the playbook.

'We need senior, but not full-time.'

Founder is stretched. The next hire shouldn't be a $200k exec. You want a fractional engagement with real accountability — one person, not an agency.

How it works

Four steps. Built around your team.

Most teams start with the audit so we know what's actually worth doing, then pick the engagement type that fits the gap.

01

AI & Marketing audit

A focused three-hour audit where I map your current state, your team's real workflow, and where the leverage is hiding. You walk away with a prioritised plan — with or without me delivering it.

Best for: teams who want a second opinion before committing

02

Pick the engagement

Based on the audit, pick one (or more) of: Stand-In CMO for ongoing marketing leadership, AEO & SEO retainer for compounding visibility, Stand-In CEO for transitional cover, or AI rollout for whole-team workflow change.

Best for: any team where the gap is leadership, not headcount

03

Roll out across the team

I train your people, install AI workflows, document the runbook, and direct any vendors or agencies. The point is to leave your team faster and more capable than I found them — not to make you dependent on me.

Best for: teams where AI is uneven and marketing is fragmented

04

Quarterly strategy sessions

Compound retainer engagements include quarterly in-person strategy days for clients in the Gold Coast / Byron region (or video for everyone else). Reset priorities, course-correct, surface what's working.

Best for: businesses that want a strategic partner, not just an executor

A real story

Leadership consultancy. Six-person team.

"I wrote every proposal myself. For 14 years."

Established leadership consultancy, six people, strong reputation — and the founder was still writing every proposal manually. The team was capable but uncoordinated. Marketing was 'whoever had time'. AI was scattered. The website was tired.

We started with a 3-hour audit. The plan: AI install for the founder, Fractional CMO retainer, AEO foundations. Within 90 days: 3× organic enquiries, the founder stopped writing proposals from scratch, and marketing had a single accountability point for the first time in a decade.

The lesson: established teams don't need another agency. They need senior strategic input, AI rollout, and accountability.

Leadership consultancy case study

What you actually get

Senior input. Real accountability. No agency theatre.

Senior strategic input

Two decades of operating experience. Built and sold a wellness brand. Run a global retreat marketplace. I've done the work, not just advised on it.

Fractional time, not full-time cost

Engagements are sized to the gap. Monthly retainer or transitional engagement — not a full-time hire. Predictable monthly investment.

Team training included

AI rollouts are delivered with your team, not around them. They learn the workflows. The runbook stays with you when the engagement ends.

One person, one number, real accountability

Not an agency layer. Not a junior account manager. You deal with me directly — the same person who built the strategy and runs the work.

Common questions

A few things teams usually ask.

What size team is this for?

Any business with a team, whether that's two people or twenty. The track is built for businesses that have outgrown DIY but aren't ready to hire a full-time marketing or AI executive.

What's the difference between Stand-In CMO and Stand-In CEO?

Stand-In CMO (Fractional CMO) is ongoing senior marketing leadership — strategy, team direction, vendor management — typically a monthly retainer. Stand-In CEO is operational coverage during a transition (parental leave, sale prep, founder sabbatical) where someone needs to keep the lights on across functions, not just marketing.

Do you train our team or do the work yourself?

Both. The goal is to leave your team faster and more capable than I found them. AI rollouts include training. Stand-In CMO engagements set direction and coach your in-house people. The runbook stays with you.

How does this work alongside an existing agency?

Often I replace fragmented agency work with a single point of strategic accountability. Sometimes I sit above existing agencies and direct them. We figure that out in the audit.

Are engagements remote or in person?

Both. Day-to-day is remote. Compound retainer engagements include quarterly in-person strategy sessions for clients in the Gold Coast / Byron region. Worldwide otherwise.
